which polishes and LSPs and non-staining?

Accumulator mentioned in a post about 3 weeks ago he only used LSPs that were non-staining. From what I understand this includes at least Poorboys and Klasse.

What polishes and LSPs were non-staining?

Others I've tried that don't stain are Souveran, Trade Secret, Acrylic Jett, s100.

I know I'm missing some.

Which Poorboy's don't stain? I dunno about Natty's, but EX-P is the king of delayed action staining.

Some of the stuff I was thinking of has already been mentioned (Klasse, Souveran).

VM doesn't stain.

UPP and Collinite (845 and 476S) and Meg's #16 are all OK if you don't put them on thick and I'd be a little careful with these until you've tested an inconspicous area.

Opinions seem to vary regarding Autoglym SRP (doesn't for me, does for others).

Many polishes, especially those that contain abrasives, will stain if left on, but won't if wiped off immediately. 1Z stuff isn't bad in this regard, and note that most versions also contain wax.

Generally, a W-O-W-O approach seems to diminish the likelihood of staining. Whether you want to use this approach or not is another isue...

What is exactly meant by non staining ??? are you takliking about on rubber molding pcs. or black grained trim or ????

both - causing chalky waxy build up that looks white when dried and is a bear to remove.

Ok, thats what I figured. It's one of the reason's I use Optimum Spray Wax. No build up the nook's and crannys either, last just as good as anything in my arsenal, would like a better deeper wet look though. I've noticed over the years it depends on the brand of vehicle too and different one's respond differently to different waxes.

Yeah, while some surfaces are more prone to white residue than others, generally I find that something either stains or it doesn't.

To be perfectly clear about a few products- I've used Souveran on all kinds of the surfaces in question with no problems. I've been intentionally applying it to the exterior rubber trim of my XJS for many, many years and I used Malm's liquid wax on it before that (yeah, wax on rubber trim for over 20 years and said trim looks like new). I've used AIO on all kinds of trim too- gotta be very gentle applying it to rubber or it'll damage the factory texture, but it never stained for me. Same with VM- I've used this on all kinds of surfaces, including rubber with no problems whatsoever.

I use KSG and UPP on hard exterior plastic trim, especially the KSG. It's all I ever used on the WRX's exterior trim and it's all I use on the MPV's.

Oh, and no, I never referred to the PB's stuff; I've never used it.
