Re: Collinite's 476S Super Doublecoat Auto Wax Review

As I stated in another thread, I was just over a month with 476 and a $2 coin-op wash, with 2 coats spaced out over a couple weeks. My car rinsed clean except the last time it could use some aggravation.

It has been parked for a few weeks now, as I bought a different vehicle for the winter, so I will wash the car once more before winter and maybe another coat of 476. It will sit outside all winter and this spring will tell how well it stood up.

And also makes for less build-up along pinstripes/etc. and fewer staining issues on textured black plastics.

I'm married, so I get all of that I need.

You've been taking spy pictures of the Sequoia, haven't you?? I've spent four days now working on it, one day of which was spent removing old 476 from various orifices/nooks/crannies/emblems, etc. Thank heaven for Hi-Temp Prep Wash. I *still* can't believe I was *that* sloppy when I last applied the stuff.

Funny how it can do that sometimes, huh? Give the 845 base a try, it makes for a much broader margin for error. I turned ebpcivicsi on to this after he did my Yukon; it's a lifesaver on vehicles with miles of PPF edges.
