So, for the product testers (blkz28conv)....how's it compare on the abrasive scale to say, DACP?
I guess there's no more reason to not try Z anymore....

I guess there's no more reason to not try Z anymore.... | IMHO the Z-PC is oh so slightly less abrasives than Meguiar's DACP. The most important difference is the final breakdown effects of the Z-PC. This product requires NO follow-up after using properly (working product until basically gone) produces an extremely high gloss, amazing smoothness, deep, wet and no hazed finished.
In the real world, what Z-PC will not correct will require a larger step up than Meg's DACP (i.e Menzerna IP) and than follow with Z-PC. So basically, the starting points are about equal.
As I have mentioned in the past, this is the final link (components not evolution) in the Zaino system and personally the most important of all the new products introduced this year.
Great work Sal!!!

With regards to follow-up with other products, in my personal experience, I have never had to follow up DACP with other products, even on flat black. But I have read many others with different experience, so YMMV.

How much of the Z-PC would you say is required to polish an average-sized sedan? $13 for 8 oz. of polish is a bit pricey (won't keep me from trying it, but I may keep it all for myself instead of using it on family/friend cars, if you know what I mean).
Thanks,

That line made me laugh, only because I would have never throught to market car polish as "intelligent."

I was rather intrigued by the note that stated that the polish can get more "bite" if the pad is spritzed with water first. | I saw that too. But what interested me was the next sentence, "Water can also be used to minimize dusting when using a machine buffer." Does that mean that this is a particularlly dusty polish; that I should expect dust unless I spritz the pad with water and get more "bite" (is that necessarily a good thing all the time?) in the process?

Join Date: May 2005 Posts: 239 | After reading about this product on here for the last couple weeks I got the impression that this product would be something like an AIO replacer. However, after reading Zaino's description of it, it seems more like a light polish (similar to Menzerna FPII???). Anyways, I'm pretty much a n00b, so I'm not sure. Can someone clarify as to what this product is similar to? Thanks.
