The Best tire cleaner...

Recently i read on the forums about how good EO A2Z Wheel + tire cleaner is. I bought it and it did an excellent job on my wheels. I also used it on my tires and saw that the nasty brown grease and grit was melting off of it. however, when My tires were fully dry, i looked back at the tires only to discover that they were still abit brown.

A2z did make a noticeable difference from its original condition but i still have abit brown dry tires. I look at some of the autopian's car pics here right after they washed their car (not having applied a tire dressing yet) and thier tires are already clean as a whistle.

i wanna know what is the best tire cleaner out there 9most effective) so i can get in also on those shiny clean tires. thanx for the help guys.

I'm currently liking Mothers Rubber and Tire Cleaner although I do have some new Michelin cleaner to try.

A good stiff bristled tire brush and sometimes a second pass is needed to get them totally clean and ready for dressing.

I use EFHI and the OXO tire brush for cleaning my tires. I've been using EFHI at full strength, but will start to dilute with water.

I use either A2Z or Poorboy's Spray and Rinse and a soft brush and they come out great.

I like A2Z. Use a brush and heavy rinse and the brown will be negligible.

Will A2Z strip the the SG off my wheels, I don't really need it for the wheels, just the tires, but if the overspray goes on the wheels, I don't want to loose all my hard work.

As I understand it, the EO is a strong cleaner. I do not know if it will remove all the Klasse but I would guess it will remove a fair amount

Wesleys Bleche White for the tires, they'll look like new again.

I've used Wesley's and A2Z
Both I thought work very similar and I was happy with both performances.

But its really necessary to use a brush and some major elbow grease. I know when I did my mother's Explorer a few weeks ago, 1 tire I spent a good amount of time on brushing and brushing and then some more brushing and the tire looked great, the other 3 tires, I was too tired and made 1-2 passes with the brush and there is a noticable difference between the 3 tires and the 1 I spent a lot of effort on

My one gripe about Wesley's though is the damn bottle and sprayer, they suck at best. The bottle is an odd rectangle shape and the sprayer requires you to use one finger. Its a real PITA if you use it
