Anyone ever use these mitts??

Today I went to Costco to pick up some ink cartridges and had to take a stroll down the automotive aisle. This aisle has been pretty bare lately, I guess because its not in season. Anyway today they had a huge shipment of these Eurow Chenille Microfiber mitts. I picked up a 5 pack for $10. They seem like ok mitts, very soft. I just compared them to my new Viking Super Soft Chenille mitt and they were by far a lot softer. Anyway the box advertises these mitts as Microfiber Magic Mitts. They keep advertising its microfiber abilities, which is really weird seeing how its a chenille mitt. The word "chenille" is nowhere to be found on the box, weirdly the price tag referred to them as chenille mitts. Is there such a thing as microfiber chenille mitts? Or is this just a play on words like many detailing products? Anyway I wanted to see what you guys & gals though. Eurow made pretty decent MFs and Sheepskin Mitts for the price IMO, so i'm hoping these are pretty good. If they work good, this is a pretty good buy, and i'll prob stock up before my Costco membership expires. I attached some pics to show you.

Other materials can be manufactured as chenille, not cotton exclusively. Hope they don't lint as bad as the cotton kind. It was an absolute nightmare in my laundry room Wash them first before using.

There is an on line vendor that sell those mitts and the person who runs it is a member of Autopia. Can't remember who it is. If I remember correctly they are MF not cotton and are pretty good mitts.

It reminds me of this one "Excel Microfiber Chenille Loop Washmitt" from exceldetail.com

Exceldeatil.com is selling them for $4.99 a mitt. $10.00 for a five pack at costco is a good deal. Thats $2.00 a mitt. Less than half the price of the one from Exceldetail. l wonder if they are the same mitt, they sure look the same.

Are these recommended over the traditional sheepskin ones?

Purely personal preference. As noted, chenille, at least the cotton variety, can lint terribly in the washer and dryer, causing a big mess. Sheepskin will not do that in my experience. When purchased locally you can pick out the "good" sheepskin mitts by selecting only the softest. Longevity? It's hard to say. Sheepskin is a natural product and will degrade over time. It depends on the individual mitt and the frequency and type of use it sees . Chenille can probably "exist" longer but I wonder if "safety to the paint" compromises after a while.

I don't like the chenille mitts that much. I have 2 almost new ones. After finding the Eurow sheepskin mitt...Its my new "go to" wash mitt.
