Meg's coming out with a new sealant?

Well I was calling around my area to detail shops that sell Meg's paste waxes...specifically #16 for winterizing my car. Anyway got talking to the guy that seemed fairly knowledgible and is aware of this site when I mentioned it...He had mentioned that Meg's is going to bring out a new PURE Sealant in the professional line and a sealant with carnuaba, like PB's EX-P and EX. Anyone hear any truth from this....he said his shop is getting test samples next month hopefully. Just wondering if anyone else has heard such news? Also he said that it is indeed gonna be the pro line up and not the NXT line up. I guess maybe this will be a updated version of their #20?? If its true then i may just pay them a visit when they get those samples

I haven't heard of any of those products and I was just up at my Meguiar's distributor today. Normally, he mentions when new stuff is coming out.

BTW, I met Rick (rlspringer) up there today. Great guy!

Hmm..well the guy seemed really nice, so I dont think he's lying, and the shop is an Official distributor for Megs. Oh well I guess i will keep in touch with the shop and try to get some more info, or maybe that's all the info he actually has.... I think it would be great if Meg did come out with a sealant that will rival Klasse and Zaino! Would be an interesting battle. ALso Scott, since I have been graced with your visit to my thread...quick question...I will be using NXT over this winter, which will be a better topper, more on the durability side megs #26 or #16?

Yea i was gonna ask if MikeP was around since he works with Megs....I mean i hope im not starting anything that's gonna start a lot of speculation....Im just wondering what the Meg's Dist in my area was talking about and if there is anyone else that has heard this?

#16 is definitely more durable. In fact, my sales rep at my Meguiars distributor thanked me for the #80/#16 suggestion.

They were out of 8006 pads, so I'll have to stop in reasonably soon again. I'll see what he knows. Wash Solutions is by far the largest Meguiars distributor in the area.
