Any 240V obital polisher that can fit Meguiars DA 5' bcaking plate and foam pads?

Confirmed with Porter Cable that they don't make the PC is 240V.

Anyone have a 240V Obital Polisher (Makita, bosch, etc) can fit the Maguiars DA 5' backing plate so it can use the 6.5' foam pads?

Thanks a lot for your advise.

You could consider a transformer to convert 240V to 110V. This is what we do in the UK - get a PC and transformer. It costs a little more but I wouldn't be without my PC now.

Cheers,
Phil

Sorry I am not good in electric calculations.

What kind of Transformer you need for the PC? Is there any specifications on the Amp or Voltage does the transformer need in order to properly power the PC?

I'm worry because if the PC borke, it would cost a lot to ship back to States and return. That's why I would like to get a 240V locally.

Anyone have other suggestions???

You could get a Cyclo as they are made in 230V which will work fine.I have both a Cyclo and a PC7424.I love using both but having to lug the transformer around for the PC is a bit of a PITA.
There is plenty of information and pads available for both as everybody knows them in the detailing world.
I really like using Einzsett(1Z) products with both.

Do anyone have any website for the 230V Cyclo Polisher?
