303 Aero space protectant review

among the list of goodies i got, one is the 303 aerospace protectant. on with the review...

ive been a fan of meguiars for a long time as some of u might already know. i have always been very satisfied with their Vynl and Rubber cleaner. it dresses up rubber and vinyl very very well with no oily residue or over shinning it. it was my fav for a very long time out of mnay products i have tried.

so here comes the 303. first i must say it is a very good product. i used a terry pad, sprayed the 303 on and wipped in on my dash and other black plastics in the interior. i was very happy with the look of the application. the spreadability was also very easy. plus it dried really quick which saved me alot of time.

i cant say too much about it in terms of durability but it seems like its there to stay and protect for a long time. very happy with the results.

but for the price of this product i think ill prefer the Meguiars one i mentioned earlier over the 303. they seem to both give awesome results in terms of look and feel. i have a feeling the 303 has stronger UV protecton but the Megs already has plenty. its like saying my 100 SPF is better than ur 90SPF when we all know when its over a certain amount it all protects the same amount.

so in conclusion, i would say the 303 is very versatile and a very nice product that leaves me very satisfied. but if u want something just as good with a smaller price tag, go with the Meguiars.

i agree with what your saying about the 90 vs 100 block....

but the reason i love the 303 so much is its versatility....engine stuff...wheels...vinyl..leather...trim.....everywhere...i dont think the meguiars can handle all that....but i think with the vinyl alone as your saying you have it right...

I used to use the Meguiar's but it attracted dust like crazy so I switched to 303, and I must say im glad I switched. As Floni said its very versatile, I use it on my dash, engine, hoses, etc. and it does a great job, and since its water based i know that its safe to use.

303 is water based. This results in a much nicer finish than Meguiar's. It won't accumulate any dust and doesn't leave the finish with an oily finish. It also provides much more UV protection than Meguiar's. So at least to me and just about everyone else here, 303 is a much better poduct. Laters.

I used 303 on my grey plastic panels this weekend in lieu of my normal Z tire dressing stuff. I find it to be very similar to the Z stuff. In fact other than the smell I could see no differance.

I did not use it on the tires just the grey plastic. It went on the same and shined the same.

For me price will dictate which is better.

I just used the 303 on my leather and vinyl interior. Like NG Luder said, it's very easy to apply and looks like it will protect for a good long time.

However, my only complaint so far is the smell. I mean, it smells BAD!! If you were to wear your gym shoes for like a month straight without taking them off or washing them, that's what this stuff smells like. Do you guys know of any way to get rid of the smell? Is there anything that I can add to it to make it smell better? My leather doesn't even smell like leather anymore. It smells like old gym shoes!

do what i do....i put the 303 on the seats and all...but i only put the

Pinnacle leather conditioner on the door leather...that bananna smell will not be out done by the 303...it takes over....i love that smell...i stopped using it so much r/t the clearcoated leather controversy...which is still unresolved...IMHO

I might as well chime in also

Last weekend I used 303 for the first time and i must say that I am impressed. It went on very quickly and easily. The look when dry is very appealing both to the eye and to the touch. I just don't understand the posts about smell??? I don't seem to notice any. Am I missing something here? I know I used enough. From the looks of thing so far so good for durability. If it lasts as long as I think it will, then I am a very happy camper.

303 has a neutral or crappy smell to my nose. But heck I hang out in gutters and other dives.

I can smell it the instance I touch the bottle so don't worry I bet you have enough on.
