A couple of different mf towels; Meg's and Stoner's

Well, first I think that these towels might be exactly the same grade from the same manufacturer; the look and feel is exactly the same. The Meg's towels are edgeless, though, and the Stoner's towels are edged. Neither towel is labelled.

Both towels removed Gold Class wax residue equally well, with little effort, no linting, and no marring. I also had an unopened old Meg's towel for comparison; that towel, as well, is a very good product. Its shortcoming is having almost no nap on one side, making it a nice dual-purpose towel in a world of single-purpose users.

Generally speaking, I prefer the longer napped towels like I get from Patrick at Excel, but I'm not throwing these out or giving them away, they're pretty good towels.

The Stoner's towels are $30 a dozen, not online, but from the Stoner's catalog or available by phone. The Meg's towels are $70 for 20 towels, you know where to find 'em.

Tom

If you own a car with an LS1, it will be the only towel you can use without bursting into flames.

I didn't mean it that way! Zaino zealots tend to reside on LS1 and GM forums.

And Sal probably has a deal with the towels, and thus endorses them completely. Otherwise he would recommend other towels just as well.
