If this is the Hi-Temp stuff, pink in color.....then your greatest results will come with a rotary and a polishing pad. The rotary, with its combined heat and friction, allow the products cleaners to properly level paint and then polish the paint. If you are only using a PC then, as already noted, go to a softer pad, like LC's black finishing pad.
If you are using a cutting pad with the MC and a PC then long after the MC has done its work you are still abrading the finish with the cutting pad, in other words nothing between the paint and the pad to lubricate it.
