FYI... NEW Edgeless 20 Pack of MF's!

Just an FYI...

Meguiar's now has the New edgeless Ultimate Wipe MF in a 20 pack and they retail for about $70.

Here's the part number: M-9910B - 20 Detailing Cloths

A bunch of us got to see these towels at the Detail Day. They are a waffleweave towel that are a bit thicker than most. They were plusher/thicker than the ones I got from the Autopia store back when David first started it (not sure if the towels have changed since back then, and those are my only other waffle weaves). These Meg's towels are great for buffing off polishes and waxes, a bit too small for drying, and I'd go with a looped MF for QD duty (like the DF Towel, my absolute fave for QD work and QEW drying).

My mistake, they are not actually a waffle weave, but rather short, wide loops. They are really great for buffing product off. Here's a shot of the new vs. the old ones:

thought id post a mini review of the megs towel.....

right out of the bag we used them on windows and car finishes with NO linting at all.....as aurora showed they are seamless around the edge.....they didnt "grab" or ball up in your hand when rubbing hard.....they worked great, i used em on NXT, hand polish, dacp, final touch, and quik detailer, maybe something else also.....
they pulled product off the finishes VERY effectively, and buffed to a glass like finish....not a simple feat.....some MF s are TOO plush and will ball up when you try to rip product off or lint like mad.....some are too short to really be effective, or offer protection from scratching your finish and be able to buff to a high gloss...
MEGUIARS has hit the sweet spot with these towels, and they truly can be called an Ultimate Wipe...
they also feel and look like they will last a looooong time, unlike some others i have to compare with...

You can find them at this link on Meguiars.com. If you just type in Ultimate Wipe you have to click on the info to get to the 20 pack deal. Not sure if they are in stores yet.

I was really impressed just how good the new MFs are. Similar to the orange edgeless Viking towels but somewhat thicker
