Lake County Tufted Pads - Where to purchase?

Where can I purchase the Lke County Tufted Pads located here? Linky poo

I want the Orange pad as well.

I want the 6.5" and 7.5" for my PC and rotary.

I have e-mailed Lake County, but have not heard back.

Thanks for the input. I figured as much. I wish they (CMA & TOL) carried the 6.5" pads.

Lake County should work to distribute more. I mean we're all here waiting with cash in hand ready to buy their product!

Thanks again.

Oh, Tom p., I hsve that pad! I'm looking for the "tufted" pad.

Lake County

Murray's Discount Auto carries Lake County Pads. From my notes they have 13 different sku's. (Not sure if one of them is the orange one your looking for.)

Thanks Sci-Fi! That's a step in the right direction! I'll check them out. Looks like the they have the 7.5" yellow and white.

Tom p., I enjoy the orange pad very much. It offers more aggression than the white pad (more of a compound effect) and allows you to skip the white pad because of its polishing capabilities. It's a tough cookie when coupled with the PC. It's best described as an all-in-one pad. So instead of going from a yellow cutting to a white polishing pad, you can use the Orange Pad.

For example, I love using the Orange pad with Meguiars Speed Glaze (a milder DACP) on cars that have moderate swirls and light scratches. When you work that product properly with the Orange pad, the end result is wonderful. It's a great polish / glaze product. Top it with a true glaze like #7 or Hand Polish (for newer cars) and WOW!! I did this routine with a PC on a garaged black Audi A4 that had car wash swirls and the result was spectacular. I waxed with Collinite Insulator Wax for the winter.

It's worth a purchase in the Autopia store. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/lcm-76-2165vc.html

Spilchy, thanks for your comments on that. The orange pad over at CMA is actually produced in Germany, not by LCM. I suspect it's a different animal.

I think I already have the orange pad from LCM (from Griot's) but am not sure. It's been in my collection for a while.
