I have fallen in love with my new wash bucket

It is a 6 gallon rectangular wash bucket and it comes with wheels! After my first use I thought to myself how come I didn't look for one of these 14 years ago!! Man it really saves your back just rolling the bucket around with you instead of having to lift it.

It also comes with a plastic seave on the bottom so it keeps the dirt an dgrime away from your washing sponges, very cool

Th ewhole package is then topped off with a tight fitting snap on lid that can keep the water clean from debris or you can keep your brushes and stuff in there when not in use.

The only drawback so far is that if you are washing a car on a slant the bucket, because of its smooth rolling wheels, tends to drift downhill. Another drawback for some might be the price tag of $70 BUT I feel it is worth it, especially if you are a pro.

It is virtually indestructable, and by that i mean you can throw it across a driveway, and it will bounce!! (tried once to see if they were strong) I like the fact that it is clear so i can see if the water is still good, and that it has the gradations on it for mixing QEW. I get them a little cheaper through one of the local food distribution companies which makes them worth it

If I didn't do the vast majority of my details at my customer's houses, almost all of whom have slanted driveways, that bucket might be worth it.

their store. They have two different ones - the one they have at top of the line is the Ettore
Super Bucket for $23 without all the extras (they also carry this at Home Depot). I put some
of my own casters on it for about 6 bucks and purchased the sieve from the above site for
10.

They also have a bucket by Pulex in Red, Blue, Yellow or Green that is basically the same bucket (it is the same one the sell at CMA) on special for $10. The cas
ters are $6.

Both are great buckets - I prefer the Ettore bucket because of the way the sieve sits in it.

But I do love the idea of a sieve in the bucket I think I'll have to check out ccreamer's recommendations and make my own.

I always use the 5 gallon joint compound cans and the price is good.........free. I purchased round seat lids from Home Depot and they work well.

There is a double bucket cart on wheels made by Armor All at Sam's for $19.99. The kit comes with several armor all products that I threw away immediately. However, the cart works awesome!

I get my 5 gallon buckets for free from the hospital kitchen. Sure it's a "pickle" bucket and smells like pickles for about a week but hey it's free!

If you are going to place casters on your buckets make sure they are NOT the el cheapos because they just fall apart and crumble after heavy use.

I bought a very nice 5 gallon retangular bucket at a janitorial supply store here in Dallas. It doesn't have wheels but it does have plastic grating panel at the bottom to catch the dirt. Very nice and the lady even gave me a 10% discount (don't know why though). Total for it around $13.

I had a thought to make/ recycle a sieve. Take a original lid from the joint compound can and first cut of the edge of it so it will neatly fit inside the can as an insert , second drill a bunch of holes in it creating the home made sieve. Cut a piece of 4" PVC pipe for the sieve to stand -on in the bucket.

Cheap Super Bucket. I might try this.
