I am most pleased with the results I have achieved using
Meguiar’s Medallion Premium Paint Protection on both my wife’s 2002 silver Tacoma and my 2003 black Dodge Hemi.
This product is a “dream” to use. It took me less than 1/2 day to wash and “wax” each truck. I did not clay either vehicle. Because my new Dodge showed some swirls and some very fine scratches, I polished it first with Meguiar’s Dual Action Cleaner/Polish. All products were applied and removed with a Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher.
Both trucks are driven daily over at least ten miles of gravel roads. They are garaged at night. After two months, the shine and protection still present on both trucks is amazing. I use one of Meguiar’s car wash products (This varies by availability.) and a cotton wash mitt and “old” terry towels. I have not used a quick detailer on either truck, but a couple of times I considered it on the black Dodge, but thought, “What the heck, it is going to be on that gravel road in less than an hour anyway.”
Both trucks do not collect dust like they did with carnauba products and both have nice deep shine, even the black Dodge. Dirt seems to come off both trucks much easily than before.
I certainly recommend Meguiar’s Medallion Premium Paint Protection to anyone who wants to spend more time driving and less time detailing. It's "good stuff".
