Thumbs up Review: Duragloss 221/222 Leather Conditioner

I've been using Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. I've promoted it here and extolled its virtues. For me, it provides a great finish, with a great leather smell...but, as I've posted, it's pricey at $24.95 USD for 16oz.

I was perusing the shelves at NAPA the other week and saw Duragloss 221/222 Leather Conditioner. Being the curious sort, I shook it up and opened it. Wow, there was the same great Pinnacle smell that I loved.

I passed over the #221 (8oz./$5.69 USD), and bought the #222 (32oz./$16.84 USD). I drove home, cleaned my seats with Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner and applied the Duragloss Leather Conditioner. I love working this into my seats with my hands. After a couple hours, I buffed the seats. Compared to the Pinnacle LC, Duragloss 221 has more of a matte finish, but leaves the leather just as soft, supple and smelling great. Seven days later the seats look great and the car still has that great leather smell, even surpassing Pinnacle LC.

Their ad says Duragloss 221/222 "contains a blend of mink oil and lanolin which penetrates and maintains the soft, supple, feel and fragrance of fine leather. It gives a non-glossy, non-greasy treatment to both new and old leather. Breathes new life into old leather."

I've used several Duragloss products in the past, and found them to be quality products, but I had never tried their Leather Conditioner. For me, it provides a great finish, with a great leather smell...and, as I'm posting now, it's a great deal at $17 USD per quart.

I'm sold and have converted. Highly Recommended.

Duragloss Leather Conditioner #221 8oz.
Duragloss Leather Conditioner #222 32oz.

I'll have to check that out. I've used several Duragloss products-the car wash soap and their rubber/vinyl protectant are both excellent and both smell great!.

Thanks for letting us know about this.

I've been using the Duragloss polishes recently (101, 111, and 601) and am THRILLED with their performance. I bought some 901 car wash and will try that soon.

Thanks for the review. I think I'll run out and get me some.

Bret-you'll love the car wash soap. Super rich suds and a great smell! The rubber/vinyl protectant has a nice fresh lemony scent to it. I wish I could get it locally in gallon sizes.

I found a parts store close by selling Duragloss stuff really cheap. I'm gonna clean them out tomorrow. Hope they have that protectant you described.

Thanks for the info.
