Thumbs down Meguiars Mirror Glaze Spray Bottle.

I got this a few weeks ago along with a gallon of Meguiars #34 Final Inspection. This is probably the worst sprayer ive worked with. When you squeeze the bottle lightly, the FI just drips out the nozzle. It doesnt matter if the head is twisted tight, or left loose. It also does this when swinging the bottle around. If you havent used it in awhile (few days), you have to "prime" it by squeezing a few times. After the head primes and youre ready to spray, the product drips out after every squeeze. The feeling is not firm, but springy. After you depress all the way down, stuff will still spray out for about 1/4 of a second. If the spray head for Meguiars Quik Detailer fits, ill be using that in a few weeks.

I've experienced the exact same thing from my Meguiars Final Detail bottle which looks identical to this one. I'm going to try and find a new spray head and will let you know if Home Depot carries anything that will fit.

I'd hate to change the whole bottle since I really like having product lables for quick reference.

The DEP spray bottles from Home Depot are awesome. They are in the garden department. I load them up with my wheel cleaner and all different solutions mixed with varying ratios of distilled like EFHI, Simple Green, car wash soap, upholstery cleaners etc...

Wow, that sucks. Everything you've said, especially how it loses its priming sounds like a pretty lousy sprayer to me.

Spilchy, you mean those heavy duty ZEP bottles with the blue and yellow heads? They sell those up here too (amazing!).

EDIT: Has anyone else ever noticed some of the best spray heads are the ones with the pivot at the top that use the actual spray tube as the piston? The ZEPs are like this.

I stopped by today at Home Depot and picked up a Zep bottle. When I got back to the garage I pulled the spray nozzle off of the Meguiars bottle and low and behold the Zep spray nozzle fit perfectly.

So now I have my Final Detail Bottle with a high quality nozzle.
