Posts: 6,369 | S100 Shine Enhancing Paint Cleaner I decided to pick up a bottle of the S100 Shine Enhancing Paint Cleanser today at the local Harley dealer ($8.95) and give it a try. This product (per the lablel) is designed to remove minor swirls, oxidation, etc , and is a prep (paint cleaner) to to their S100 wax.
I have been using Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion (PPCL) on the 300ZX for a while. I found the S100 to be much easier to use than the PPCL. It went on much easier and was a breeze to buff off.
I tested the S100 Paint Cleaner on the front bumper area directly under the center panel area. I figured it was a good test area based on the wear and tear the surface gets.
I clayed the area completely and followed up with the S100 Paint Cleaner. The stuff is great. It left the surface as slick as can be and removed some of the minor swirls. I then followed up with the S100 wax. I plan on putting another coat of S100 on in 24-48 after it has had time to cure. The surface looks great.
I would highly recommend this product. For $8.95 you can't beat it !!!! Thanks to Scottwax for the tip...

Why did you have to post this thread...I now have to go to my local Harley and pick-up a bottle or two of this stuff...
Why do you need it anyways, your 300Z looks great!

I just called my local Harley and they don't carry the S100 SEPC...oh boy. I think I am going to have to order online...

It would be good for your once a year deep cleaning, then just maintain with SEPC or Hand Polish.
However, since your paint is in excellent shape, I wouldn't run out and buy anything else right now, just a suggestion for when you want to spend some serious time on your car.
S100 SEPC is an amazing product though...the shine and slickness are fantastic!

1 - Control
2 - SFP
3 - DACP, SWF, HP, #26
4 - DACP, S100 SEPC, S100 Carnuba
#2, #3 and #4 looked great when I got done. I applied using the PC with CMA pads. #4 came out to be slicker but #3 felt...?I cant explain the feeling. It kind of felt deeper (if theres such a thing). I wanted to apply #20 Sealant with the #2 panel but I forgot it at home. All in all, I like all the products I have that Scott suggested.

I was just wondering what DACP, S100SEPC, and then S100 would look like.

By looking at it, I cant tell the difference between DACP, SEPC, and S100 and DACP, SWF, HP, #26. They both feel differently though.

Good work. Your conclusions are pretty similar to mine (assuming the SWFP shine is similar to Meguiar's #9). The meguiar's polishes seem to leave a softer or deeper shine than the P21S cleanser, which leaves a very glossy shine. MHP feels smooth, but not anywhere as slick as SEPC. Also, their waxes leave a shine commensurate with their polishes......i.e. #26 leaves a soft, warm shine....and P21S carnauba leaves a glossy, mercury-like shine. As a Zaino-addict, I tend to prefer the high-gloss that comes from the P21S line.
