hi everyone...i've been off the boards for quite a while, but hoping to be more active again. one thing i'm looking to do is replace my near-empty Menzerna Final Finish II bottle of awesomeness...

i searched through and found quite the history for the Menzerna products...especially the FFII.

basically, i would just like the exact same product, but if it's not available, what is most comparable? i like FFII for it's gloss and ease of use (little dusting, easy to wipe away).

    looks like the history is:

Final Finish II --> Micro Polish PO87MC ...then phased out

    and...

Final Polish FF-3000 PO85U is the current product equivalent. (?)

so is FF-3000 the closest replacement or do i need to go to the Super Finish "Nano" SF-4000 to keep the same cut/finish and dusting qualities?

    thanks for any help!

thank you for the additional info. i was looking over the chart on autogeek, so the extra reference is great to compare with. since the original product is gone and was rated at cut 2/5 and gloss 4.5/5, that'll point me to the SF-4000. i'm hoping the SF-4000 has the same workability (dusting/easy wipe-off) as the FFII.

Go for the PO85RD(SF4500) it would be the closest to PO87MC; PO106FA(SF4000) is more abrasive.

I do not find SF-4000/4500 to have the same workability as FFII. They dust more and require a little more effort to remove IMO, but they do work well.

PO85RD / SF-4500 must be the one to try. i have PO85U (although it is from several years ago, if that matters) and i never cared for it much. it was much less friendly to work with compard to FFII.

i did find PO87MC / FFII in autopia's store, but it's a full gallon. it does say "Final Finish II" as well on the label, but i would hate to have a gallon sitting around. maybe i'll try to find someone to split it with...
