Quick question about layering multiple coats of Poxy. How long should I wait in between coats? I was assuming it would be best to wait at least 24hrs between coats to assure proper cure time. I did a quick search but didn't come up with anything. Thanks guys!

Anecdotal evidence is pointing to longer cure times=greater durability with Poxy and Speed.

    TD,

Are you seeing better durability leaving POXY on the paint longer before removal?
I've been doing the whole vehicle before removing or is it best to let it sit longer?

    Thx

I always leave poxy on for a good 30-60 minutes before removal. As far as seeing a difference, I don't maintain cars I correct. But the ones I used to do for a dealer were removed after an hour and durability was good.

I can't imagine that Poxy layers (nor do I think any LSP truly layers and builds upon itself). I'd just do the second application (more to ensure complete coverage than anything else) when the car is rewashed.

Honestly my main reason for putting on a second coat was to ensure full coverage on the car. I will be topping the Poxy with Victoria concours red wax for a little extra depth and wetness.
