Found the new Extreme Simple Green Motorsposts at Pepboys today--$7.99 for 32 oz spray bottle. Don't know if they have gallons, but it appears much different than standard Simple Green Extreme Simple Green Motorsports Cleaner & Degreaser

    From the website:
Extreme Simple Green Motorsports meets compliance standards for Boeing spec D6-1748P. Originally developed for the aircraft industry and geared toward safely cleaning high end aircraft exterior and engine surfaces, this product is an ideal choice for all of your motorsports cleaning and degreasing needs.

Extreme Simple Green Motorsports is ideal for use on aluminum, chrome, titanium and other high tech alloys, painted and gel-coated surfaces, anodized and electroplated parts, carbon fiber, a variety of metals, plastics, rubber and much more. It is effective for use on interior and exterior surfaces, automotive and marine grade carpet, precision parts degreasing… the list goes on. From auto repair to restoration and rebuild shops, precision fabrication, metalworking and machining, Extreme Simple Green Motorsports Cleaner & Degreaser is versatile, effective, and safe for all.

On the bottle it specifically states safe for painted and unpainted metal and removes brake dust. And as usual is biodegradable.

Haven't tried it on an engine yet, but it did a great job on wheels and fender wells. Also, it does come in 5 gallon and 55 gallon drums.

I've seen this posted in a few places. Sounds fairly promising since it's now more "friendly" to metals and surfaces versus the other simple greens available.

I wonder what makes this different than the "Simple Green Automotive" they had been selling through the parts stores before (which was different than regular Simple Green)?

Dan--they just sent me info for my area--you can send a note to Ana Garay and I'm sure she would send you the suppliers in your area. anunez@simplegreen.com

    C. Charles--not sure of the differences between this and Simple Green Automotive (not on their website any longer) You could also send a note to Ana for this info.

I read the MSDS, they took the butyl component out of it, and went with the safe DPN.
    About time they wised up.
