Re: New Meguiars 2010 Products

Oh, even though I saw a couple SEMA threads, I forgot SEMA was Meguiar's new-product intro time. Thanks for the link Al, looks like some interesting things.

Accumulator's checkbook shudders....

That 4" maroon cutting pad will probably get great with M105, but I bet it's gonna bite somebody, just wait and see.

I was thinking the exact same thing about the checkbook and someone pushing the cutting pad a little too far.

Re: New Meguiars 2010 Products

Am I the only one annoyed that they are messing with the pad colors again? At least its not like Lake, I had to print out a chart to remember all the stupid colors.

The "tub" of compound and polish sure looks like they are targeted for bubba.

I'm still disappointed that there is no trim friendly sealant yet.

The 3" wool pad looks nice.

Im also interested in the new gold class wax. I actually thought the look it gave was pretty damn nice. Too bad durability was worse than souveran.

Besides those and the 4" pads, nothing looks great. They hit it pretty hard last year with ultimate compound, swirlx, UQW, etc

Yup, unfortunately I think your crystal ball is spot on.

I tested a pre-release sample of the interior/exterior trim dressing. I thought it worked very well.

I glossed right over that...I guess they have to compete with the cans of Turtle Wax compound :
