Ultima Paint Guard Plus dropped by AutoGeek

I just read that UPPG has been dropped by AutoGeek. Perhaps this is just one of those business decisions. No store can carry every line. But as UPPG is one of my favorite sealants, I was just wondering if anything else might be up. I sure would hate to see UPPG disappear.

Wow that sucks to hear. I have been loving the UPGP also. it has been great on my new Honda. maybe one of the AG employees will enlighten us on the issue. maybe it was not selling but who knows. I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see what the verdict is. they do carry so many products and guess they have to cut some lines at time to time. wonder if the whole line will be dropped also.

Has anyone bothered to post in the AG forum or ask AG? That might be a start before all the conspiracy theorist get in here.

Re: Ultima Paint Guard Plus dropped by AutoGeek

There's a post there from a guy that says he called them and they stated they aren't going to carry it anymore.

Too bad. Of all the Ultima line, UPGP was, IMO, the only real stand-out. The others were (are) good products, but the price/performance ratio was waaaaaaaaay off.

UPGP, though, is a seriously good product.

Why carry several lines with the same polymer chemistry?

Re: Ultima Paint Guard Plus dropped by AutoGeek

Ironically, I just tried UPGP for the first time this last weekend.

I have used MANY different sealants over the years, and UPGP just became my favorite. I am extremely impressed.

There are other places to get UPGP, no big deal.
