Zanio Z2 vs Poorboys EX-P

I stripped off my old wax last night (water/ispa mix) and put on 3 coats of Zanio Z2(silver car) I must say it went on easy and came off just as easy I let each coat sit for 15-20 min and then removed. I was impressed with it for the most part. I thought it was going to be alot smoother that it is. It rained about a hour later and I must say the beading on it ROCKS! I only hope it lasts. I cant wait for the sun to come out so I can see how it looks on the car. I also did notice the sent is pleasant to me at least.

I was wondering how Poorboys EX-P compares to Z2, I have my wifes car that is next in line for testing and I figured I ask to see if anyone has used the two (scottwax i know you have) and how they compare with each other. What one looks better on dark cars/ light cars?

Cheers

Im off to bed, damn 12 hour night shifts

It's great stuff. You are going to love the durability.

The Zaino beading is insane and it lasts forever. I'm not much of a fan of EX-P, especially the trim staining and reappearing residue. It looks nice and is real slick, until you wash it.

Re: Zanio Z2 vs Poorboys EX-P

that makes me feel a lot better it was basically a coin toss between Z2 and EX-P I read the reviews and saw Z2 had more reviews and a higher rating. I just need about 3 more coats and I'll be good.

Re: Zanio Z2 vs Poorboys EX-P

Well I have and enjoy both, but to me, have different purposes.

Zaino is one of those picky deals that can frustrate me when I dont have much time. Durability is fine and I really like the looks. It is pricey however.

EX-P is super easy to deal with. For a while, I used it under all my carnaubas and I loved it for that purpose. I always had good durability with it. And its cheap.

As for the looks...

I think a lot of people would say Z2 on light looks better and maybe a tie on darker colors. To me, I never saw much of a difference.

Re: Zanio Z2 vs Poorboys EX-P

IMO the best thing about Zaino is that it doesn't stain trim or vinyl.
