Poli-Seal + UPGP?

Anyone try this? This was a combo I was previously curious to try but never gave it a shot.

Re: Poli-Seal + UPGP?

Not sure how it will work for you, but I find that putting anything on top of poli-seal is hard, its too slippery. I tried Opti-seal and it wouldn't come off the applicator. I posted here and people said to wash after Poli-seal if you wanted Opti-seal to bond.

How did Opti-Seal not come off the applicator?

Usually you see slight streaking on the paint that disappears in a few seconds. Unless I soaked (read 4 or 5 sprays on the applicator), I could not get anything to show up on the paint.

Interesting. Could it simply be that it was not that the product wasn't being applied but rather that streaking was minimized?

Re: Poli-Seal + UPGP?

I doubt it. If you are familiar with opti-seal, you know how it feels when it is going on. Poliseal is just too slick. I posted here:

Re: Poli-Seal + UPGP?

If you want to use UPGP after Poli-Seal i would use Danase wet glaze first as that will allow UPGP to bond. This is what i do alot and it has worked perfectly.
