"Winter" Wax/ Sealant

With winter fast approaching and already here for some I'm looking to put a "winter" wax or sealant on the autos. I'm debating between megs #16 or 1z Glanz Wax. I have some others I can use but I think they would be my best choices. I've had some GREAT results with Glanz Wax leaning towards that BUT I've heard such good things about megs 16, I have 16 on one of my cars now and love it BUT I don't want to have my winter protection fail on me 1/2 way through winter. I'm also thinking about getting a new product for a winter protection.

What would be a better choice?
What do you use for a winter wax/ sealant?

Re: "Winter" Wax/ Sealant

for the winter here in Pa ( last year was real crappy btw ) I have been using use Prime , AJT , Zaino , 476 and 845. #16 held up a few months for me but not sure if it would make it through our winter season. going to use UPGP this winter as it has been a champ on my new honda, 5 months going strong with one coat in a very rainy summer for us. the water sheeting on UPGP and less stuff sticking to it makes it an easy decision for me.

Dont compromise on looks or durability; Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 has to be your choice!

Re: "Winter" Wax/ Sealant

Why don't you layer the wax over the sealant? Then you'll get the best of both

From all I have read, these are three of the most durable protectants available, though Rydawg has experienced even better durability from Collinite 915 than 476s. You can't go wrong with the Collinites.

Isn't FK 1000p a pure synthetic protectant?

This winter I am going with Blackfire Wet Diamond on my Stewie and UPGP on my wife's CRV. We shall see ...
