FK 2685 Pink Wax

So what is the opinion of Pink Wax within the Autopia community. Are you getting good results with this product? Would you recommend it?

Got a sample of it and thinking of using it.

Without a doubt PW is the least expensive and most underrated beauty wax available. Easy to use and has a very wet look. The only drawback is the odor, this stuff has a strong chemical smell. Try it ,you'll like it.

Your right about the smell. Almost smells like black shoe polish It looks like it is a soft wax. Do you agree? I have FK1000P and I consider that more of a hard wax.

Matt, have you tried Pink Wax on top of 1000P? If not, give it a go...I think you'll be really pleased.

I love it, and agree that it's fairly underrated. It's definitely a soft wax, very soft.

But I kind of like the smell of it, reminds me of old school waxes

I have not tried that combo. But with winter around the corner it may be a good combo to experiment with.

Re: FK 2685 Pink Wax

I've used PW for a few years. Terrible tin can container is difficult to reseal. The shine is good, but i do not get the lasting protection on black that some claim.

Are U using it as a standalone, Jermar, or as a topper? I'm suggesting it as a topper for FK1000p. I don't have a good feeling (one way or the other) how durable it is as a standalone.

Re: FK 2685 Pink Wax

strong solvent smell, dries a little too hard/fast for me, ( and that is coming from a Collinite user<) but has a decent shine. Really just too many other better products I would rather use, when I do wax.

Re: FK 2685 Pink Wax

It's very shiny for a wax, I prefer the look and durability of 1000p on black. I got 3-4 months out of PW.

to echo what everyone else has said as well, also the tin is a pain in the butt to close shut...
