Glazes

Im thinking about trying out Poorboys World White Diamond and Black Hole glaze. Are they worth it though? are you able to apply a wax over them? im not familiar with glazes.

Re: Glazes

You may want to try Danase Wet Glaze instead-bonds with wax.

Danase Wet Glaze - The wettest looking product you'll ever use - a glaze and sealant in one

DWG has no cleaners, so you can sandwich the stuff between layers of LSP, or even layer just the DWG. The poorboys stuff has cleaners.

Re: Glazes

Prima amigo is designed to be used with a topper in mind. RMG looks nice under a nuba but for me I find myself using Megs #7 often. It's a pain to use compared to the other 2 but it really adds a nice look. I top it with a paste wax and love the way it looks.

Re: Glazes

I use Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glze w/ Acrylic Shine II. It works very well and I haven't had any problems with LSP's "bonding" to it.

Re: Glazes

Anyone carry DWG aside from Danase? I would prefer to fill a cart somewhere and add that to it, instead of just buying only DWG and paying high shipping for it...

Thanks! Though, I'll probably just finish my RMG and VM and then place an order for DWG straight from Danase.

Re: Glazes

Waxes don't bond they simply sit on the surface- true polymer sealants bond.

Re: Glazes

I thought the same thing, but didn't want to get too technical about it. I actually use Klasse on top of the CG EZ Creme and it seems to work well. I even sometimes put wax on top of that....
