Re: Are you on or off the paste wax bangwagon?

Paste waxes here. Look at it this way: all the high-end waxes; Souveran; SuperNatural, Zymol, Swissvax, Lusso Oro, 50/50, Fuzion, P21S 100%, Blackfire Midnight Sun; all are paste waxes.

I assume most lovers of WOWA (Like Optimum's Opti-Seal) like the minimum effort with maximum results (like professional detailers who need to make a decent profit for their time spent).

Yes, I've used Megs NXT liquid. Does what it says at a very reasonable price.
But I like Collinite 885/476S better. Lasts longer on my daily driver.

Re: Are you on or off the paste wax bangwagon?

Though I use a lot of sealants, I love paste waxes. Applying the product seems more involving, an interactive experience, if you will.

Re: Are you on or off the paste wax bangwagon?

My job is warrantied to bead for six months or I DO IT AGAIN FREE. I spin 4 to five different chemicals into the paint of any vehicle I do. It does NOT need to be hand waxed with anything upon completion PERIOD! In fact if you hand wax it, you will soon see that you will put finger marks back into the surface, which will show in the sun. I finish with a finish pad. On that pad is a clear carnuba....just enough.

what four to five chemicals do you "spin" into the paint? Is there something that you use that leave a protective layer behind? Who puts their fingers on the paint when their taking the wax off?

You finish with a finishing pad like almost all of us when using a machine, and you use clear carnuba, so you use a liquid wax or do you apply paste wax to your finishing pad then apply?

On the bandwagon with Collinite 915/476...here to stay.

Off the wagon with Z-2. Haven't found a paste sealant that I like better than Z-2 which is liquid...of course

Re: Are you on or off the paste wax bangwagon?

I prefer paste waxes, i have 6 boutique high-end waxes different one's to be exact. For my customers i use SCG Barrier Reef liquid wax, it's a really good liquid wax.
