3M 05995, Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad Glaze
A friend gave me a new bottle of this from his storage. He has not idea how to use it and neither do I.

I use the following steps to clean/wax my car and have no idea where this product will fit in? Should I use it before OP or after? Or would this product be used in place of OP?
1. Wash car with Meg. GC
2. Clay bar
3. PC + orange cutting pad as an applicator for OP
4. Buff off with microfiber
5. Use PC to apply Meg. #16
6. Buff off with microfiber

after doing smoe research for ya, it looks like its a single step polish, good for minor correction, i may have read it can be used for a swirl mark remover but dont quote me on that. use it with 3m's foam polishing pad.

This would be used in place of OP. I have used it, however, be careful, the bottle you have shown is marked "LIGHT" for light colored cars. They also have a "DARK" for dark colored vehicles. I have used it before, and refer back to it every now and then. It contains no silicone and if I remember correctly, has no fillers, either...or at least very few. It is a good product for removing light scratches and light swirls.

This will be used for a pearl yellow vehicle, would this color be considered dark or light? What adverse effects will there be if I used the "LIGHT" formula for a "DARK" color vehicle or vice versa?
Thanks for the tips. Plan to try a small section with this vs. OP. Not sure what to expect?

Yellow would equal light. I am not exactly sure what would happen if you used the dark on an light car and vise versa. I have only used the dark on dark and light on light....but that's a good question.
