Black does look great when done right.

Well I arrived at 9:30am to start the fun and games. After talking with the owner and setting up. It was 10:00, I had to start, and when the sun hit it, it was a different story.

The paint was covered in spiderwebbing, and had rotary trails all over the hood.

The wash Optimum car wash

Tires/wells Optimum car wash and a little dawn mix with a wheel brush.

The Gameplan

I started to use a few products and they were doing ok, but not good enough. With the org. wg pad. Then I used the org. edge pad, since my green pad was still wet from a previous use. I took out my heavy hitter 3M heavy cut, that did the job. It did leave a little haze on the paint. So then I used Optimum Polish to bring back the shine and depth. I then rewashed the car with my foam gun. I used a mix of optimum car soap and dawn soap. The owner wanted me to put zaino on as the last finish. Zaino Z-5pro was used.

Excellent job, especially on the swirl removal. Even without the dreaded C040 paint code, the regular 040 black paint is still pretty hard.
