Re: Are Maguiar's products the best on the market?

Is Meguiars the best..

For Bricks and Mortar stores, hands down the best in my opinion.

Their consumer line should be looked at by management and a lot ofproducts removed off the shelf. Too many similar products and some just don't need to be there.

Their Pro line is EXCELLENT. Almost faultless but again, there's probably a few products in there that can be discontinued as well.

Their Detailer line is Amazing as well. If anything, this is one of the lines should be trying to get into mass more i.e. Glass Cleaner, APC, Degreaser etc.

Then there is the whole question as to why does one company need 7+ shampoos???? Seriously..

That being said, when you look at online competition and products typically only available via online shipping. Things change up a bit.

Then it becomes more of a 5-10 race and really, none of them are better then the other but more a personal perference.

Meguiars, Menzerna, Optimum, Zaino, Poorboys etc.

So taking that into consideration. Yes they are the best overall company in the US and Canada, by quite a margin. They could even strength that position if they made their consumer and pro line less complicated.

They didn't even come out with consumer products until the 70s.

Mike Phillips,

Bob is correct. You can't drop commercial links in the public forums (only in your AG private forum).

Bob Daniels,

While I understand you are upset over a perceived issue of "advertiser fairness", taking jabs at me in public is not going to solve the problem.

Thanks,
db

Their management watches the line constantly. The reason there are so many products is because people keep buying them.

Not trying to fan any flames here but what commercial link did he drop?? I saw his post as soon as it came up and I'm confused as to what he did wrong. Again I'm just trying to understand what this is about.

I never included any links in my reply in this thread. Just tried to help the guy out.

I'm all for obeying the rules, if I've made a mistake then I'll be sure to avoid that in the future.

Thanks for looking out for me Bob!
