I decided to try some of this, and I think my experience was about the same as yours.
Power is decent, better than ONR, but its no
Wheel Brightener.
I was hoping this stuff would be more of a clingy gel, its just a liquid.
It has a very faint citrus smell, no harsh fumes, and is non irritating, at least on my relatively sensitive skin. I actually got a little
too brave and decided to taste the stuff

no adverse reaction yet, but it doesn't taste good.
Over all I like it, and will continue to use it I think, Its a really good product to bridge the gap between soap/ONR and
Wheel Brightener.
Another thing I noticed was It didn't seem to strip of the sealant I put on my plastic hub caps.
