Re: Is Finish Kare going to provide a website to order?

I applied a 2nd coat of FK-1000p to the roof of my car yesterday. I used a 100% cotton pad (foam in the middle) to apply and applied a very very thin coating. In fact, so thin I could hardly see it on the white top. Let it dry and it came off easily with a microfiber. One thing I've noticed is that 1000p gets kinda sticky if you apply too much.

So that's kind of where I am in the learning curve with 1000p. I know I don't have it mastered but I'm pleased with the results and plan to keep working on it. Maybe even with the PC and 4" pad. Also I'll try a dampened pad and see how that goes.

As has been reported/recommended by others, the second coat makes a big difference in the gloss/shine.

Re: Is Finish Kare going to provide a website to order?

I wanted to speak with someone at FK but have not been able to get through. I called them on Tuesday, email on Wednesday and called again on Thursday.

The phone just rings, no machine and no response to my email. I tried both the 800 number and the non 800 number on the fk1usa site.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Is Finish Kare going to provide a website to order?

Just wanted to follow up on my previous posts...After having difficulty finding a vendor to advise me on Finish Kare products, someone at this site directed me to Michael Fortunato - a Finish Kare distributor.

Mike's experience in using the FK products shows when you talk with him. He advised me well in product selection and use. On top of that, he was responsive to all of my inquiries (both email & phone), shipped fast and even called to confirm that I received my order - I recommend him.

Also, I was well pleased with the FK products (tried a bunch). I was expecting good things from FK425 based on comments I read here on autopia.org but it still surprised me - it really adds the gloss.

If you need Finish Kare products and want to reach Mike, here is his contact info:

Email : FinishKareUSA@hotmail.com
Phone: (585) 509- 4094
