Shouldn't that be the other way around? Don't you usually put the durable wax on the bottom and the beauty-wax on top? That way you can re-apply the beauty wax often to keep it looking nice without sacrificing the durable base-layer.

And wouldn't collinte/natty's be super-overkill for a car that's already prepped with KSG?

Which wax I listed wouldn't mute my KSG?

Re: Which wax should I get?

Of the three choices you originally listed *i* would use Collinite 845, it is easy on, easy off if you go somewhat thin. 476 *i* believe is more durable but a tad harder to work with

Agreed. I like the look of Collinite 845, too. It looks darn near as good as some really pricey LSP's, *especially* if you put it over a high gloss glaze (like Meg's Show Car Glaze, or Machine Glaze).

A Megs glaze followed by 845 is a darn cheap way to get a darn nice finish with all the goodies... looks great, very good environmental protection, easily cleaned, great durability. And it's really *cheap*!

I think everything would mute KSG. Only one that came close was Duragloss Aquawax. Souveran does make for a very deep wet look but I think that Klasse/Souveran works best on blacks and reds. I would just stick with K twins and just use AW to freshen up or better yet, "spit shine" AW with the Duragloss QD. FK 425 seems to be a nice QD for KSG too.

I like the Souveran or Fuzion route.

Re: Which wax should I get?

I use P21S 100%, and it is GREAT stuff in my humble opinion.

Re: Which wax should I get?

If you just want a shiny topper for your KSG, then S100 might be the way to go.

Re: Which wax should I get?

I have Nattys Blue and Collinite 845 and I prefer Collinite. Whoever said Collinite is hard to take off is doing something wrong. Nattys Blue is MUCH harder to take off then Collinite. Nattys blue may look better, but the stuff only lasts like 6 days before you need to re-wax. Collinite lasts like 2 months here in the 100+ degree weather.

Re: Which wax should I get?

I like the Souveran over the KSG. Although, the wax does mute the KSG just a tad, it still looks amazing. However, a combo that I found to be absolutely amazing is the FK2180 anit-static sealant topped with Dodo Juice Double Wax which creates a slick "wet" looking finish.
