Question Wash & Polish One Day Wash & Wax Next Day

I can't wash/polish/wax/detail a car (99 996 Guards Red) in the same day. So...

can I wash and polish 1 day then garage car overnite and wash with cold water and carnauba wax it the next day without washing away or affecting the polish from the previous day?

using:

Sonax Gloss Shampoo
P21S Paintwork Cleanser
Pinnacle Sovereign (using for the 1st time)
Meguairs Final Inspection

TIA

Well technically you can't "wash" polish away. A polish is an abrasive that removes a portion of your clear coat. So a wash inbetween won't hurt a thing. Just make sure that you don't make any more scratches/swirls while washing it the second time because that would almost defeat the purpose of polishing. If you would just like to QD inbetween, you can do that too. Washing and QDing are both fine, just make sure that your technique is correct.

Looks like wash/polish and wash/wax will work and not cause any problems. Thanks to rightlane, thecarguyGP97 and ALAN81.

I used for the 1st time today my new Big Blue Drying Towel from CMA which arrived this afternoon. After using it I will retire forever and ever my P21S chamois and all my 100% cotton towels. This baby is so good that I cannot tell you in words. You really have to try it. It will eliminate scratching the clear coat during the drying process because you never drag the towel. You place it on the panel, tap it gently to even the towel out and lift up. 95% of the water is removed and no lint remains.

Thanks to all the members for turning me onto it.

Can't wait to try Sovereign for the 1st time on THU or FRI.
