And don't forget on the hood, there can be additional variations in curves, non-uniform heat from the engine, etc.

thanks everyone.
As said, a flat surface may have been better, but all have the same surface. The painwork is car like, met paint, lacquered. No graphics have wax on them - only paintwork.
All waxes look the same, but there are some very slight differences with the odd one or two, some slightly darker.....
I have some time tomorrow so may do the first update!

This is the third review out of three that has gotten the EXACT same results as I did when I tested 9 different waxes; all the waxes look EXACTLY the same outside of a VERY slight darkening effect some have which is barely noticeable to begin with. Since I did my test, I vowed never to be swayed into buying a wax again based off of promises of looks.
