I don't think it did, but I did notice an odd noise just a while ago. I'll have to check.
FWIW, when I'm using M105 with the Flex and a foam pad, I keep the pad damp, and I'm only using about four pea-sized drops per section. The pad does gum up after a while, so I end up going through about four 6.5" pads on a medium sedan, plus a 4" pad for pillars and tight spots.
Hope you have better luck. M105 is kind of a pain to get the hang of, but it sure speeds up the work on badly swirled paint.

I tried SIP too, same as 8RD.

BTW, I tried the PO85RD as a finishing polish and it seemed way too light to finish down VW clear with a white pad at least. I would have thought since it was formulated for ceramiclears it would have at least made a dent in the holgramming/marring the M105 causes. Perhaps it would have been better paired with a low-profile 5.5" orange pad, however I have apparently lost my PC wrench to change the backing plate so I was stuck with the 6.5"s

2 drops of M105 and a drop of either work well for me.

I usually got 105/pfw then sip/white then 8rd/blue or black. So far that combo has been very good to me.

I don't have splattering issues with any other polish. I have mixed M105 with HTEC 70/30 and it still has lots of cut, but I don't get splatter ever with it and HTEC is CHEAP! It is my go to starter now, and move to M105 if it does not have enough cut.

SIP/White is what I finished down with. I just find a little confusing PO85RD is formulated for the "scratch-resistant, ceramic clear coats" like it's meant to really have some serious cut, but then it's also describes as a mild "gloss enhancing" polish.

I backed off a bit with the UF and seem to have found a good middle ground. More to come when I feel I have a better feel for the ratio.
If you have a job where you think 105 may have a bit too much cut, the UF addition is a perfect solution!
Note: Using LC CCS pads and a Flex 01.

Now for you 105 mixers.... If you guys are mixing stuff into 105 to get longer working times, you might want to look into M95. It has a nice, long working time, it's easy to use, and since you're not having to mix/cut it for the working time, it cuts just as well as 105. And it costs about half. Honestly, why pay so much for 105 if you're just defeating it's purpose? Megs intended it to be a very short working time, heavy cut compound, and you're paying *alot* of money for their efforts.
Using M105 in the manner in which Megs intended does work very well, it just takes alot of getting used to. Since 105 is capable of doing it's intended work in a short 15 seconds or so, why would you want to drag it out longer, and with less cutting? Yup, that sounds like a *perfect* job for much less expensive 95.
