Re: Black WOW or 303 Protectant ?

My favorite for trim is Werkstat Satin Prot. Goes on like 303, but lasts a long time.

Re: Black WOW or 303 Protectant ?

I use Duragloss TMD instead of 303, easier to obtain locally and cheaper. I think it looks better and lasts longer as well. I have never been impressed with 303 for any application. For my dash I switched to FK425 and have been far more impressed.

Re: Black WOW or 303 Protectant ?

I am really partial to the Meguire's Gold Class Trim Dressing. I am going on 5 weeks and no loss in shine or looks. One complaint is that when I polish my car the blue painter's tape will not stick to trim treated with this stuff, but I guess that means the wax won't either and if it does a applcation takes it right off.

That's not bad stuff, but I've done head-to-head tests with GC trim restore (the liquid, not the spray) and BW is much more durable. Both are really slick, like you mentioned, which makes them bad for running boards and the like. For this and easier application, I prefer the Satin Prot.

BW is not a dye, so no black residue. After applying, jut wipe off with a damp mf or wash the entire car. It is somewhat sticky if not wiped down and will not run in the rain.
