AW is a great and will be one of those products that will be in my arsenal for quite some time...

Re: I'm going nuts with aquawax

I'm using the old OCW. Now, OCW doesn't bead all that well either but it is a nice refresher to an LSP that is on the way out.

I dunno about AW, when I used it over 845 (1 or 2 month old application, can't remember) it just seemed to kill the beading/slickness that I otherwise would have gotten with it in the coming washes.

Re: I'm going nuts with aquawax

I'm very pleased with DG AW and continue to use it after a couple of years - just on the cars though!

Re: I'm going nuts with aquawax

I picked up some AW and some old formula OCW at about the same time and I have to agree with previous posters, after using both on my cars I'm starting to favor OCW.

However the wife loves the smell of AW, so I'll just keep using it on her minivan and use the OCW on my rides.

AW is something I will conitue to buy. I love how you can see the gloss come up after an hour or so. I have had it last 4-5 weeks by itself at the end of winter. I use it after every wash, no problems.

My drum kit is done with AW , it has a lot of chrome and its a black titanium fade mix . sweeeet !!

One thing I love its the beading and how when I'm driving in the rain the water just blows and rolls off.

Re: I'm going nuts with aquawax

I am kind of surprised by some peoples experiences. I have both AW and the old OCW and on my Burgundy Metallic Civic I prefer the AW. OCW seemed to do a nice job with protection but AW seemed to have better looks. They both beaded equally well and almost as well as my 845IW.

What other wacky uses have you guys found for the stuff? I'm restraining myself now from the urge to wax the toilets (we'll see how good it beads!)
Wait till you try FK425!

That's what I'm thinking. I ordered FK1-425 and it should be here today. I just did a coat of M21 followed by AW (12 hours later) last weekend. I can't hardly wait to wash the car tonight and QD it with FK425. Anxious to see what it does to looks and dust/keeping clean.
