SIP is a medium polish with a respectable amount of cut. 106 is a finishing polish with light cut. PO85RD is an even finer finishing polish than 106 with very very light cut. Just enough the burnish the paint, not enough to correct paint though.

PO85RD jewels the paint after 106FF.

SIP, 106FF, 85RD is a killer combo esp on black cars!

Just don't confuse PO85RD with PO85RD3.

Re: Menzerna SIP and 106FF = Holy Grail!

From the perspective of a Flex user...

I used Menz PG for a while, but couldn't take the heavy dusting. Further I didn't see any more cutting ability than SIP had.

I dislike using any Menz product with PFW. Gums up the wool and creates a mess.

I use Meg 105 instead with wool and for heavy cut applications.

Mez PG is no longer of much use to me at all.

SIP is a staple for cutting hard paints with anything but wool.

So in summary (at this time)...

Megs 105 and PFW for heavy cutting on both hard or soft paint.

For med to light cut SIP on hard paint with orange/white foam. Finishing with Menz 106FF.

For med cut M105 and an orange pad. Light cut to finish with 3M Ultrafina SE with a white pad.

Still tweaking jeweling, but seem to be having good results with red pads using FF or UF SE.

Exactly. Almost as bad as mistaking H2SO4 for H2O.

Re: Menzerna SIP and 106FF = Holy Grail!

Same brand but used P0203S followed by P085RD with Astounding results! Did 2 passes on 4" LC green with P0203S and 1 pass with P085RD on 4" LC blue and it's a brand new car. Anyhow, what speed do you guys use on the PC with P085RD?

Re: Menzerna SIP and 106FF = Holy Grail!

Guys,

Can SIP be used on reguar clear coats as well? I'm a bit unaware of the "scratch resistant coatings" phrase on the SIP description.

I have soft Toyota paint (Black).

I'm really contemplating over Menzerna Power Finish, however I've only seen one thread on autopia regarding it.

I would go for PO203S instead of SIP. Great gloss and only a little less cut.

PO203S is a killer polish

Re: Menzerna SIP and 106FF = Holy Grail!

Wow, that's sounds great guys. I already have some P085RD so I'll just order some P0203S.

IS Menz Power Finish Pad dependant? Can I get away with an orange pad for heavier defects with Menz PF?

I'll be using a my flex DA.

Thanx Porta/MDRX8.

Yes. I am using it with foamed wool, orange, green and black foam - all Lake country colour codes.
