Rust Proofing

Who gets their car rust sprayed up here in Canada? I'm going to be taking my 2003 Civic in on Saturday to Krown and wanted to know if anyone else does the same thing?

I hope the spray creeps well enough since the temperatures in Toronto have dipped really quickly in the past couple of weeks!

I have been using Krown rust proofing for a few years now it really works my only complain is that for the first 3-5 days the chemicals/oil keeps dripping in my driveway other than that

BTW when you drive off the krown garage ,drive very slowly (the first couple of minutes) and keep testing your brakes to make sure the oil didn't get on the rotors or pads.

Rust Check is the same as krown, I believe they bought them out !

Walmart also does it with the SuperTech product, I find their product is the best out of all of them.

I have used Rust Check for the past couple of years. I am very happy wiht the way they spray the entire car. It last only for 1-2 years depending on where you live in Canada and how much you drive.

My family has been using Krown for years on all of our cars. It's a great product and environmentally friendly too.
A friend of mine has been "Krowning" is white 1992 Honda Accord EX-R every year since new and it doesn't have a spot of rust anywhere. It also has just over 400,000km on it!!!
I highly recommend Krown to anyone!

Just remember that even the best product is only as good as the person who applies it

And note that a lot of the really important protection involves areas where you can't really see what's been done.

Been taking my car to Rust Check for the last 8 years & they've always done an excellent job. A friend of mine has been taking hi to Krown & he's satisfied as well....
You can't go wrong with either one as both companies have tons of experience in the business.

I have been using Krown lately myself, not sure if it is any better than Rust Check but I know the APA (Auto Protection Agency) only recognizes Krown as the best.
I truly believe either one is better than none and a lot has to do with the applicator dude! I have seen sheety jobs, lots of places missed etc so I would rather have a thorough job of Rust Check than a 1/2 missed application of Krown or vise/versa........Irv

Just bought my car this year, and straight to Krown it went...

Krown is definitely the right choice. Undercoating will help in the short term, but in the long term it may trap moisture and salt next to the metal which will only speed up the rusting process.

Those non-drip sprays are not viscous enough and will not work their way into all the joints and little cracks and crevices where rust can start.

I do find the dripping is really annoying with Krown my car dripped for 3-4 days after the application and I covered the my parking spot with newspaper to avoid getting it on the garage floor.
