Hey everyone,

Just wondering, has there ever been a meet in the GTA? I remember there was a talk about it a couple years back. Thought it'd be nice to meet some of the fellow Autopians around the area, something like Meguiars had earlier on this year.

Let me know if anyone is interested and maybe we can set something up.

When were you thinking and what would this be?

Just a car and talk sort of thing or you want a clinic?

I would offer my house but I don't have a big garage I do have a big fully stocked beer fridge though.

I do remember someone offering their shop some time ago, they may have been in Guelph though. If we are meeting I think a clinic would be beneficial along with some products trades etc. Any ideas for times and places?

I'd be in for a meet. anywhere in or about the GTA would be fine. I live in a condo so I can't offer a space....

We could try asking Greg Morton to use Meguiar's space. No clinic from Megs (don't need the hard sell), but I would think Greg would want the opportunity to sell some stuff as the quid pro quo.

I've spoken with Greg about this, and I'm pretty sure its a no go.

Unfortunately, Greg doesn't have the time to stay around and what not with his new family and work.

And I've asked about us just meeting up there and using it as a central space but it might be to fishy and if people see us and cause the cops to show up.

Its not Greg's fault.

We just need to find another location that's all.

Does it really need to be flashy?

We can always just go to a coffee-shop's parking lot so no one has to organize anything. Car clubs do this all the time-- so long as no one does stupid things (smoking ellicit drugs/burnouts/bump-loud music, the police won't bother you. Money trading hands may be suspicious, but one can always be more discrete.

I haven't really detailed this year, but would be fun to have a day where everyone brings their surplus stuff for trades!
