Rotary -- Which pad system to purchase -- Easiest for Canada?

Okay I just recently purchased a rotary polisher (Vector). I was wondering which pad system would you recommended that I purchase? It has the same thread size as teh Makita's/Dewalt, etc.

Which system and its pads are widely and easily available in Canada? Would I always keep on purchasing from USA?

Please let me know which ones you suggest, I am on the market now.

I searched Meguiar's site and its pad system and names are simple to remember by. Lake Country has soo many items its really hard to know what to choose from...

So far there are these big 3 names that I know of...

1. Megs
2. Lake Country
3. Edge 2000

BTW: If I use a velcro backing plate from either Megs/Lake Country, can their pads fit either backing plate since its just velcro? Which backing plate is best? I hear a smaller diameter such as 6.5" is easier to control? Can I use an 8" wool pad on a 6.5" backing plate?

I am new so I am researching on what to purchase.

I plan to wetsand my car, so I know I need a compound with a wool pad. Then I need other pads for different products. Here is my product list.

1. Meg #84 - Wool Pad
2. Meg #80 - Which pad?
3. Clearkote RMG - Which Pad?
4. Meg #21 - Which pad?

So many questions but hopefully you can help a fellow Canadian!
