Nice for a C5, but doesn't compare to a 6 or 7 second Pro Stock or Pro car. Especially one that's n/a.

Open headers I assume and anyone consider that last power burst could be from a NOS shot?

230/227 591/571 112lsa is that cam. Its more a combo of the lift, and lsa that give you that choppy lope. It also maybe due to the tune. I am running a cam with even less lsa with 4 degrees built into it but with a little less lift. It does not chop as much as that vette.

I've never heard anything like it in a stock car. I'll have to go hear it again!

Duration and overlap give the lope at idle. High lift cams with short duration have little to no lope. The 292 Magnum Comp Cam I had in my Chevelle had 244 duration @ .050 and 106 lsa and it loped nearly as much as that C5. Even at 1600 rpm, there was some lope.

I bet it's impossible to drive that thing any speed under 5mph w/o the engine stalling. I drove a Hennessey Viper that was like that. It'd set off car alarms wherever you drove.
