Re: Oil at 95mph on highway

Nice save!! I did that on a snow covered road back in highschool, and don't want to do it again. I was only going 50mph, had the shakes for a while though.

Re: Oil at 95mph on highway

Your Friend is an AWESOME driver.

That happened to me in the snow a couple of months ago. Unfortunately my tire blew, it was icy, and i couldn't save it. Fortunately, There was a mile market sign to slow my down and prevent me from hitting the rock wall. The car is ok... thankfully it was my winter beater. I don't know what I would have done if it was my Impala.

Re: Oil at 95mph on highway

hoooooollllyyyyyyy 5h!7. that scared the crap outta me just watching! something very similar happened to me today. Was driving my new project car, a 93 miata. Went off on a sales call to a local car-wash. Noticed that my shoes felt a bit slippy after walking around the tire shine-soaked pavement and took that into consideration when I pulled out. Made sure nobody was coming cuz I know how tail-happy my car is. came out onto the highway sideways and drove around for 10 minutes trying to get that crap off my tires.
Thank god or higher power your friend is alright. and thank god he knows how his car behaves!
