Re: Oil at 95mph on highway

Good save, But he was overdoing it with steering wheel. Thats what most people do wrong. But its different when you plan to drift and when your panic drifting. I learned alot from driving like a maniac in the wintertime. sliding all over the place oaccasionaly hitting snowbanks on the side of the road. but it was a beater and it didn't matter. and it was a good lesson that saved my 100k dollar supra from being a wreck last year. It wasnt oil, but someone had lost some gravel in a tight turn and I went sideways for quite some time. But it never got on tape :P

Re: Oil at 95mph on highway

I had a similar thing happen to me when I was in high school. Was driving a Plymouth Valiant no more than 40mph on a slick road, the car suddenly did a 180 right by a row of parked cars. Fortunately I managed to avoid hitting them and went on my. It scared the crap out of me for a few minutes. Found out the rear tires were slick.

What was the deal with someone honking at him? Honking is to get someone's attention. Did they think honking would make him suddenly gain control?
