It was well used with over 200K miles and lots of paint problems. I had to polish 3X and spent much of the day on it. The paint wound up very nice excluding some minor and expected stone chips on front bumper/hood area.
Process was wash, clay, wash, SSR2.5, SSR2.5 with rotary in spots, Klasse AIO, Pinnacle Souveran.

Did you see any signs of cc failure on the roof towards the rear of the vehicle?
Nice work!

No signs of clearcoat failure. The roof was in great shape considering all the miles.
Vernon,
I think that's a very harsh statement considering all the work I put into this. There is clear improvement evident in the pictures.

That's not true. Your statement implied the pics did not show anything. You said:
"but unfortunately the pics do not really show the improvements that were made on it"
I put a lot of time into this car and transformed it. You should be more careful in your broad statements. I don't think you would appreciate if I made the same comments about your work.
My digital scans sucked compared to my slides so I am asking for my money back from the lab-they are very fuzzy compared to the razor sharp focus I got on my slides. I will try to include better pics when I get the new scans done. Nevertheless the improvement in picture 4 is obvious.

Having a bad day silver?
I've noticed myself that sometimes, even though I make all the difference in the world on the car, the pictures don't reflect that as well as I would have liked..
I think this is one of those scenerios. The end pics of the car look awesome, and I'm sure you do fanstastic work.
However, I'm also sure that the cars transformation looked much better in person than it does in the pics...
Actually, I think it might be the color.. Have a look at these these for a similar thing that happened to me. The difference in the car was night and day, but the pictures didn't show how much of a difference that I, and the owner, saw in person....
Happens to me to... But there's no reason to get all bitter.... | |

I love the glow of the paint and the meticulous appearance of wheels, wells, and tires

You can tell in the vibrant reflections and depth that the polishing took out some oxidation and brightened her up reeeaaall nice! Good luck to you in the April Contest.

Nice work! | True, that appears to be a 94 accord or newer by the body style. The 92 were the long rectangular boxy design.

Maybe you don't know, but light beige/tan colors are hard to make look awesome (compared to a black car, where just washing it can make a big difference), and the Accord pictured there is glowing with a wet appearance. Great Job!
