MF towel quality

I am looking to buy some MF towels and am looking at Top of the Line MF towels on their site -

In particular the $3 ones. Does anyone have any experience with these - are they of good enough quality so they won't scratch my paint if i want to use them for wax / polish removal and QDing ?

Yes Ranney has nice towels and excellent service.

Take a look at the Autopia store as well. The Sonus Buffing Towel is as good as it gets. Great service to.

I have only purchased MF from a few vendors. I tend to stick with something I know work. “Best bang for your buck has to go to Winners Circle. Their green MF are very good especially for the price. I have also been please with all the towels I have purchased form Poorboy’s World. They have “warehouse sale” going on right now. You might want to check them out. it’s been a long time since I order form autofiber.com but was treated very well when I did. Their Elite towels are VERY plush.

Just my two cents of course.

I've been more than pleased with the quality of towels from both Excel Detail and Pakshak. Fast shipping from both as well.

The orange hemless Viking MFs they sell at AutoZone are pretty good for retail level products.

No first-hand experience with them but I wouldn't risk it. I've returned other MFs (from other vendors) because they weren't soft enough.

Spend a little more and you won't be taking chances. Who wants to repolish a vehicle over low quality towels

Since everybody's giving their faves, I like the ones from YoSteve They never mar my paint, not even the super soft lacquer on the '85 Jag.

To answer your original question TOL's $3 towel is a very good towel. If you're doing a TOL order by all means throw in a few.

I use them anywhere a general-purpose 16"x16" plush is appropriate, QD, product removal, whatever.

I have been using these towels for over two years. Excellent towels at an excellent price. I've recieved yellow towels that I use for glass. I've got brown towels I use for interior cleaning. The blue towels I use for exteriors. The colors might change but the quality is always excellent. I've also use Stoner MF'S and Viper MF's and Detail Plus MF'S. They all serve me well.
