Actually, I don't like one that comes with the jar. The grey seems to come apart and leave tiny bits in the paste. Now I can't tell if the applicator picked up some debris an deposited it in the jar or if it's just grey foam flecks!!!

Definitely, a foam pad is better !

I used the included songe until it began to disintegrate
and leave specks in the wax, like others have noted.

I liked that pad, though.

Now, it's a Meguiar's yellow foam pad.

Ditto.

You'd better add another option to the poll mx5gary. I think a ton of people use these.

I love the includes pad so much that I also use it for my Souveran applications. I wish this type of pad could be purchased as a stand alone product.

ive gone through four jars of S100 and have used only the little grey pad that comes with them and have not had it ever fleck...i actualy like the little pad quite a bit. I second Z28's wish to be able to buy these as a stand alone product.

Those pads look like they have some cutting action on them compared to Meg yellow hand pads.

I use the little yellow pad that comes with BF PP. It's a mini meguiars yellow pad.

I think Pinnacle yellow pads and terry pads are great as well.

That's amazing how two users of both products come to completely opposite conclusions. No right answer, just what works best for you and achieve the excellent end results.

I find the yellow pads great for items like P21S GEPC, VM and 3M IHG because I find more of a "cutting" effect which decreases as product is worked into finish ( Used PC for P21S GEPC this weekend and will never perform this task again by hand). The black sponge pad just glades across surface.
