Re: Fruit scented products

Lynn Phillips- Ya know...I actually like the scent of every Meguiar's product I can think of It probably goes back to growing up around the Mirror Glaze stuff when I was a kid, but even the more modern offerings seem to have a "family resemblance" in that regard. Just finished appreciating #80 and the Interior QD.

Did you ever paint the Cadillac or are you still running it in primer? I kinda *like* it just primered myself.

zmanz- See what *you* think the Griot's Car Wash smells like I dunno...it doesn't really say "pineapple" to me but it does smell nice.

It's the car wash in the pro line, #62.

Re: Fruit scented products

I love the smell of most Meguiar's and Poorboy's products I have.

Other notables are the P21S car wash soap (mmm... green apples), Souveran, the Optimum QD (instant detailer & gloss enhancer)... and FK425.

The bees & wasps like the smell too, that's why I don't.

Re: Fruit scented products

Smell will never be a reason why I like the product. I love Bilt-Hamber AutoBalm, but it is straight up chemical smell. I don't care, it's an amazing product and I don;t mind the smell.

Yeah, that's why a lot of exterior dressings have a chemical or no smell to them. For waxes and polishes the smell is gone when you buff it off.

Re: Fruit scented products

i would much rather work with products like meg's UQW, Poorboy's EX-P, and duragloss 901 (i think thats the wash's # anyway) than work with comething like collinite which smells very solventy to me.. then again some products over-do the "nice " smells, like pinnacle's vinyl and rubber protectant.. wayy too strong smelling IMO.

Re: Fruit scented products

The last thing I want when I get done cleaning a car is to take a whiff of a fruit cocktail. HEADACHE HEAVEN! But that's mostly on interior products, because the smell is usually SO STRONG that it feels like I'm being gagged by an old lady's blouse, drenched in cheap smell-goods.

However, I think it would be cool, to be walking past a car at a show and smell something sweet. That'd be cool.

Aren't microfibers pigmented, in thre sense that the color is actually molded into the synthetic, and not actually dyed after the fiber is made?
